The purpose of Adult Services is to assist clients to achieve the greatest degree of independence through the provision of social services which promote dignity and self-respect.

The Information and Referral program provides information for available community services and refers adults and families to appropriate resources for assistance with food, furniture, clothing, and other needs. Referrals are also made to programs offered by the Human Services Agency, as well as other public and private agencies in Merced County.
